A reminder that this coming Saturday, August 21, at 1 p.m., we will be having a “Baby Shower” in the Fellowship Hall! Its purpose is to gather baby items for “The Call” of Polk County. These supplies will be offered to foster families in Polk County. We will be having a guest speaker (Renee Hendrix from “The Call”), games, and fellowship.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to serve refreshments and we ask that all wear masks during the shower. We do this to show that we care for each other.
Donation items requested are diapers, wipes, onsies, socks, baby bath, and lotion. No need to wrap.
We would love to have everyone attend. Guys, you can come, too, if you wish.
Also, on “Helping Hands Sunday,” we will be making “no sew” drawstring bags from pillowcases and decorating and stocking small boxes with person care items. These will also be donated to “The Call.”
